Val Gardena is annual venue of the FIS men's ski race on the famous Saslong piste. This major sporting event attracts fans and interested parties alike to Val Gardena.
With its connection to Dolomiti Superski, the world's largest ski carousel and the nearby Alpe di Siusi, the Ladin valley is a paradise for all winter sports lovers. The Sella Ronda lures with 500 km slopes surrounding the impressive Sella mountain. A skiing experience that you should not miss.
With just one Skipass skiers can use more than 1.220 km slopes in 12 zones and all lift facilities of the Dolomites in the skiing area Dolomiti Superski. Beginners and experienced skiers enjoy a variety of easy to more challenging slopes, modern lifts and a large selection of alpine huts for a stopover. SKI SCHOOL
For our guests at the Hotel Welponer we are always looking for the best services in Val Gardena. We are very pleased to work together with the Val Gardena 2000 Ski and Snowboard School which was established in 1999/2000.
Eight ski and snowboard instructors wanted to create something new. The founding instructors were and still are certified ski and snowboard instructors. Due to this qualification, which is uncommon in Italy, they can better understand the objective and needs of both sports. The motto of the ski and snowboard School 2000 is “quality and quantity”, therefore the maximum number of course participants is 8.

Val Gardena-Alpe di Siusi SKIPASS
This skipass is valid for totally 175 km ski runs and 83 lift facilities in Val Gardena as far as Passo Gardena and Passo Sella and also on Alpe di Siusi.
SKIPASS DOLOMITI SUPERSKI
The Super Dolomiti Skipass is valid for the whole Dolomites area, for altogether 12 valleys, and 1200 km of slopes.
